What's the difference between Polaroid and Fuji Instax? Well, not much really:

 

Same Concept, Different "Exit"

Fuji Instax and Polaroid instant pictures are both the same idea - instant pictures in seconds.  Photos pop out of both the Polaroid and Fuji instant cameras and develop right in front of your eyes in under 3 minutes. The difference between the two is that the Fuji picture pops out of the top, but the Polaroid pops out the front of the camera.


Overall/Image Size
 

While the overall dimensions of the Fuji and Polaroid prints are identical, the image areas are very different.

The overall dimensions of the Fuji print (below) are:

4.25" (w) x 3.375" (h)

The actual image area measures:

3.875" (w) x 2.875" (h)

Picture Quality

Neither Polaroid cameras/film or Fuji Instax will produce a professional grade photo.  However, they both have their own individual characteristics.  print has a The picture quality is better and colours are more realistic with the Fuji Instax.    But the Polaroid print has it's own unique style and is more nostalgic.

The Cameras

The Polaroid camera has an integral battery within each film pack.  The Fuji Instax requires 4-AA batteries camera which makes it a bit bulkier than the Polaroid camera.    Both the cameras have automatic flashes.

Albums

We have albums for both formats of film (Polaroid and Fuji Instax which are identical,  except for the size of the die cuts that the photos slide into.
