British sailing champ, Sarah Webb OBE, celebrated her wedding albums at the weekend, an event which proved to be a more daunting experience than competing at the Olympic Games, the bride revealed.

The 32-year-old gold medallist tied the knot with fiance Adam Gosling in London's Mayfair on Friday, before joining friends and family for a reception at St James's Palace.

Commenting on seeing her wedding ideas come together on the day, Sarah said: "I was more nervous than at any time competing in an Olympic Final.

"The emotion really hit me walking down the aisle at the church but I held it together. We had a wonderful day."

The bride posed for winter wedding photo albums in a stunning Amanda Wakely designer wedding gown.

Sarah is a two-time gold winner taking home medals from Athens in 2004 and Beijing in 2008. Currently ranked number one in the world, she is part of the team fondly known as Three Blondes in a Boat.
