Britney Spears' 16-year-old sister Jamie Lynn may soon be coming up with some wedding ideas after it was revealed by a family member that she has been proposed to.

A cousin of the Spears siblings - Tina Robinson - told US Weekly that the teenager's boyfriend Casey Aldridge popped the question earlier this month.

Jamie Lynn is already pregnant with Aldridge's baby - a fact she revealed to the world at the end of last year.

Talking on Wednesday, Ms Robinson told the magazine: "He proposed a few days ago, and she accepted." She added that the pregnancy has prompted the proposal as it is something that the couple probably were not expecting to happen so soon.

The young bride-to-be is a star on Nickelodeon's Zoey 101 show. With Britney's global fame, the wedding albums could contain pictures of some well-known faces.

Britney herself has been married twice herself - to Kevin Federline and to Jason Alexander.
