Daniel Craig is planning a birthday party halfway through filming new Bond film The Quantum Of Solace, it has been reported.

The Daily Express stated that the British actor turns 40 on March 2nd this year and that he plans to mark the event.

"My 40th is in the middle of Bond, but I'll celebrate it as best I can because I've got a feeling that 49 is going to come around really quickly," he told the newspaper.

Party ideas could include expensive cocktails and culinary treats as the star revealed he indulged in both after filming Casino Royale.

After telling the newspaper how he realised his love for vodka martinis, guests at the event could include a few as birthday gifts.

Mr Craig met the Queen at the premier of Casino Royale, with Prince Philip wearing a James Bond-style tuxedo for the event - definitely one for the photo album!
