Footballer girlfriend Coleen McLoughlin's birthday gifts have been revealed ahead of the actual day by People magazine.

According to the publication, lucky Coleen is getting a £140,000 pink diamond necklace from her smitten England player fiance Wayne Rooney.

Turning 22 on April 3rd, the pretty Wag is bound to love the piece of jewellery, it claimed, explaining that those who witnessed the footballer splashing the cash described the piece as "stunning and unique".

The happy couple obviously love to go all out on birthday gifts - last year Wayne spent £250,000 on a diamond ring for Coleen's 21st.

A source told the magazine: "Wayne still likes to shop for the presents himself. He doesn't just want to send an assistant to buy them but puts a lot of thought into getting something he is sure Coleen will like."

Last week, the Scouse bride-to-be told OK! magazine that she does not want to appear too skinny for the wedding photo albums.

She explained she has not started dieting for the summertime wedding as she wants to look just like herself.
