Christina Aguilera has revealed how her husband threw her an eccentric and out of the ordinary baby shower.

The blonde singer told Hello! magazine how Jordan Bratman hit the nail right on the head with weird and wonderful party ideas befitting of a woman of her nature.

"I'm not your typical mum-to-be or very conservative," she explained. "He made it a carnival-esque, fun, adult playland."

Unusual guests at the celebration included drag queens, the 30-year-old revealed.

Christina gave birth to son Max last month, three months earlier than the couple had thought.

What may make many new mothers green with envy is the reports that Christina has regained her slim figure as little as four weeks after giving birth.

It is clear from a complete photo album of snaps of the star that she is rejoicing in her role as a mother, asking one pregnant fan when hers was due.
