Emma Watson, best known for her role as Hermione in the Harry Potter film series, has been planning birthday party ideas, reports the Daily Mail.

The publication states that the talented teenager is preparing for a much-awaited 18th birthday party this Saturday.

Watson, who features in both the British and US versions of Vogue magazine this month, has purchased a few birthday gifts for herself, claims the newspaper, although the details of both are still to be disclosed.

The 17-year-old has not only bought herself an expensive designer outfit, finally decided upon after weeks of personal stylist consultations and shopping sprees, but also a new car as she passed her driving test in January.

David Heyman, producer of the Harry Potter films, has reportedly been invited to Saturday's celebrations, which Watson has said will be "storming".

Watson has now been offered £2 million a movie, and she recently told Parade magazine that she already has enough in her trust fund to retire.

When she is given access to it at 21, it is bound to be one of the biggest birthday gifts for the young actress.
