Harrison Ford gets on so well with his girlfriend's son he is planning to adopt him, according to media reports.

A source has claimed that Calista Flockhart, of Ally McBeal fame, is so pleased with the plan for seven-year-old Liam, it gave her wedding ideas.

"[She] wants him to marry her too so they can be a proper family," the mole commented. "Marriage is something Calista has wanted for some time. It's like they're pretty much married anyway."

The couple are reportedly planning to get married later on in the year, after Ford finishes filming the new Indiana Jones film.

According to the source, both partners have similar wedding ideas and are thinking of a quiet celebration in California with Liam, who Flockhart adopted in 2001, as pageboy.

Ford, 55, has caused some disruption on the set of his latest film by threatening to pull out unless he can use a real whip rather than a computer generated weapon.
