Friends are more important than celebrities when it comes to wedding ideas, according to Coleen McLoughlin.

At least that's the claim a friend has made to the Mirror, stating that the soon-to-be wife of Wayne Rooney has insisted David and Victoria Beckham be left of the guest list.

The source explained: "Most of their friends are people from Croxteth and they live in a different world to these footballers.

"If they invited all the celebrities they've met once there wouldn't be room for Col's mum!"

Coleen is also worried that the Spice Girl may ruin her wedding albums by upstaging her in the fashion stakes, added the mole.

However, Wayne's fellow England team mates John Terry and Frank Lampard will be invited, the newspaper claimed.

Coleen has previously told OK! magazine that she is not planning to lose a lot of weight for the wedding later this year.

The 21-year-old explained that she is an ordinary girl and does not want to appear too skinny.
