Actress Lynda Bellingham has combined her 60th birthday party ideas with a wedding, reported the Daily Mail.

Bellingham, perhaps best known for her role as the mother in the Oxo adverts between 1987 and 1999, explained that when planning her wedding ideas, she thought it would be a great chance to celebrate 40 years of friendships.

In an interview with Hello! magazine, the actress revealed her happiness that she can share such a special day with her "soulmate" Michael Pattermore.

"Ours is a relationship between two people who love and respect one another," she said. "These are all the things I've ever expected from a relationship but never had. To be honest I still can't quite believe it."

Guests at the wedding in London's Wren Church included Cilla Black, Ingrid Tarrant and Christopher Biggins. The reception was held at rooftop restaurant Coq d'Argent.

Bellingham can often be seen as a presenter on ITV1's daytime talk show Loose Women.
