It may be one of the more unusual birthday gifts, but Madonna is getting a baby for her birthday, if reports are to be believed.

According to the Daily Mail, the singer, who turns 50 tomorrow (August 16th), wants to adopt another child from Malawi.

After adopting baby David earlier this year, she has decided she wants to make her family even bigger and husband Guy Ritchie is behind her all the way.

"To intents and purposes, Madonna is getting a baby for her birthday," an insider said, explaining that Guy will present a letter of support for the baby as one of her birthday gifts.

Other birthday gifts include a £250,000 Bulgari jewellery set, a vegetable patch and a rose named after her, the source revealed.

All the presents will be given during a special family meal which Madonna has organised.

However, the party ideas Madonna had in mind for her special day have had to be postponed following an ankle injury, reported the Daily Mirror.
