Jamie Lynn Spears could be combining a bridal shower and a baby shower, if reports are to be believed.

People magazine claims that the 16-year-old star of Zoey 101 registered for gifts with her cousin at Babies R Us store in Kentwood, LA last week.

"Somebody called ahead to say they were coming in," a source said.

Baby shower gifts allegedly ranged from teething rings, bath towels, baby gyms and car seats.

However, the publication adds that the young star chose all neutral coloured presents, rather than pink or blue items, making it clear she is unaware of the baby's sex.

Jamie Lynn is also said to be brainstorming wedding ideas with boyfriend and father of the baby Casey Aldridge after she was photographed wearing an engagement ring.

Sure to produce some of the most celebrity filled wedding albums of the year, the actress's cousin Tina Robinson confirmed the engagement rumours to US Weekly magazine last week.
