Jenna Bush's "spectacular" wedding
12 May
Some exclusive photos from the wedding albums of Jenna Bush, daughter of the US president, have been published.
Following the wedding, George Bush allowed the media a few moments to interview him on his thoughts before he boarded Air Force One with wife Laura.
"Our little girl, Jenna, married a really good guy, Henry Hager," he said. "The wedding was spectacular, all we could have hoped for."
Revealing that he had done a speech, he joked: "It was supposed to be 40 minutes but they cut me back to 20."
President Bush walked his daughter, who wore an elegant Oscar de la Renta dress, down the aisle to a limestone altar with a four foot cross.
The newly-weds had obviously intended to have natural and casual wedding photography, requesting nobody wear black-tie and exchanging vows in the sunset by the lake.
Jenna is one of two daughters of George and Laura Bush, her twin sister Barbara acted as maid of honour at the ceremony.
