Hollywood actress Jessica Alba and her partner Cash Warren have tied the knot in a low-key, casual ceremony.

Reported by People magazine, the couple have disregarded the celebrity trend for extravagant wedding ideas or selling their wedding photo albums to a glossy magazine.

A source told the magazine that the pair wed in a Beverly Hills courtroom with no friends or family present.

Both the bride and groom were casually dressed, claimed the insider, and pregnant Alba looked "happy but nervous".

Alba, who is due to give birth to their first child later this year, has previously revealed she would prefer to come up with some great party ideas than plan for a wedding.

"I am probably going to … throw a big party for the family and that's about it," she said earlier this year. "Everyone I know hates weddings.

"I've been to very big, beautiful and romantic weddings but I would rather just throw a big party."

Alba's wedding ideas are certainly less extravagant than fellow celebrity Mariah Carey. The recently-married singer has revealed that she intends to have a second ceremony which will cost about £2 million.
