Newly-engaged couple Rhys Ifans and Sienna Miller are planning to tie the knot in a rather exotic location.

According to the Evening Standard, the pair have fallen in love with a private beach resort on the island of Isla Mujeres, which is off the coast of Cancun in Mexico.

Described by a source as "the perfect location" for the couple's big day, the private resort has a ten-bedroom villa, guest houses and a boat ramp.

The mole also explained that Sienna was particularly keen on the idea as its remote location would mean she could be shielded from paparazzi trying to get their hands on private wedding photography.

"They fell in love with Mexico the first time they went there - so it makes sense for her to choose it as a location for her wedding," the source added.

Other wedding ideas reportedly include traditional Mexican food shipped over from Cancun knocked back with powerful tequila shots.
