Wayne Rooney's mother has obviously been considering how she is going to look in her son's wedding photo albums.

The Daily Mail reported that 41-year-old Jeannette Rooney has lost around seven stone in the last five years, perhaps dieting for the forthcoming summertime celebrations.

Mrs Rooney was pictured attending her soon-to-be daughter-in-law Coleen McLoughlin's hen party in Manchester over the weekend revealing a completely transformed appearance compared to previous photographs.

Dr Alex Karadis, a leading cosmetic surgeon, commented: "It's clear that Jeanette has lost a lot of weight all over and she's done very well - this may or may not be a result of surgery."

However she has achieved her new glamorous look, Mrs Rooney is now sure to glow next to her footballer son's celebrity pals in the wedding albums.

The young couple will tie the knot in Italy this summer and have also organised a huge party for all their friends and family back in Liverpool.
