Sextuplet sisters receive 25th birthday gifts
19 Nov
A set of sextuplets in Merseyside celebrated their 25th birthday yesterday with birthday gifts to match each of their different personalities, according to the Telegraph.
The fourth known surviving sextuplets in the world, sisters Hannah, Luci, Ruth, Sarah, Kate and Jennifer Walton turned 25 on November 18th - a special milestone for parents Janet and Graham, who conceived the girls after five years of fertility treatment.
Commenting on the girls' various party ideas, proud mum Janet told the Telegraph: "We have always encouraged them to be individual. Graham and I have worked hard not to let them be treated just as one person.
"We rarely dressed them the same
and in the past they've even had separate birthday parties."
The couple made history as well as the headlines back in 1983 with the birth of the world's only all-girl sextuplets.
Reports revealed that Germany welcomed its first set of sextuplets for two decades in Berlin last month.
