Jamie Lynn Spears, sister of pop star Britney, celebrated her pregnancy with an intimate baby shower this weekend.

People magazine reports that the 17-year-old star of US series Zoey 101 held the women-only event at the family home in Kentwood, LA.

"Jame Lynn opened every gift," said an insider. "We all sat in a circle and she opened gifts and thanked every person.

"It was just a good old-fashioned baby shower. A wonderful, sweet occasion."

Older sister Britney also attended the celebration, the magazine adds, along with their mother Lynne and the mother of Jamie-Lynn's fiance Casey Aldridge.

Last month, Britney was spotted buying birthday gifts for her younger sister at Hollywood store Ed Hardy, picking out a pink shirt, handbags, scarves and t-shirts.

Jamie Lynn turned 17 on Friday April 4th and spent the day with her 18-year-old fiance shopping and eating out at Ruby Tuesday, reports the magazine.
