Tony Parker organises surprise birthday party for his Desperate Housewife
19 Mar
Eva Longoria was presented with a lavish surprise birthday party on Sunday, organised by her basketball player husband.
Reported by People magazine, following reports that Parker had not attended any of the Desperate Housewife's three earlier birthday bashes, he surprised her with actors dressed as Cluedo stars at the airport.
Longoria was then taken to a local hotel where she was made to answer various questions about her and her husband, such as where they had their first date and his favourite colour.
On getting them all right, Parker, who married Longoria on July 7th 2007, revealed himself in a coyote costume - the mascot for his basketball team the San Antonio Spurs.
One of the actress's birthday gifts was a yellow Betty Crocker cake with chocolate icing, baked by her mother.
Party ideas included a scavenger hunt, life-size versions of board games, surprise appearances from friends and family and a lavish dinner.
One of the guests told the magazine that all the party ideas were Tony Parker's and that Longoria had no idea at all.
"There was no party planner," the guest said. "Tony was the [mastermind] of this all. And it was a big surprise."
