Jamie Lynn Spears has revealed how happy she was when big sister Britney turned up at her baby shower last week.

The 17-year-old is expecting her first child with boyfriend Casey Aldridge and no doubt enjoyed hearing some words of advice from mother-of-two Britney.

"She told me there are going to be some long nights, but it is completely worth it," Jamie Lynn told US magazine OK!.

"It was wonderful to be able to spend time with her and just be girls again," she added. "We painted our nails and did stupid stuff."

OK! magazine has published exclusive photos of the baby shower, featuring both sisters, mother Lynne and Casey's sister and mother Ashley and Joyce Aldridge - certainly one for the family photo album!

However, according to reports, Britney is still to give her sister a baby shower present.

Jamie Lynn told OK! that her sister has bought her something but wants to wait until she gives it to her.
